Septic Pumping

The Ministry of the Environment (M.O.E.) recommends that you pump your septic tank every 2-5 years depending on the size of your tank, how many people live at the residence, and if it is a home or seasonal property.

At Pumped we ensure both sides of your tank are adequately cleaned to prevent future problems.

During your septic pump appointment, we not only clean your tanks but also discuss how your system is working and advise any repairs or maintenance that may be needed.

What to do BEFORE your pump:

  1. Before you make an appointment, ensure that the TWO septic lids are exposed by removing the earth from around the lids. Note: most septic systems have two lids (concrete and plastic tanks).

  2. Please specify if you are selling or buying a home.

  3. Please give us directions to your location before the pump day for our drivers.

  4. Ensure the road and area to access the tank are clear of obstructions and overhangs and that the ground is firm.

Septic Maintenance

When it comes to your septic having regular maintenance is a great preventative tool. This ensures that you do not end up in an emergency sewage backup. Septic tanks that go unmaintained can accumulate solids and grease beyond the tank’s working capacity, which can lead to failure.
